Navigating the Admin Portal Overview Page
The new GoSignMeUp admin portal overview page allows administrators to easily monitor their GoSignMeUp system using a host of specialized widgets.
The admin Overview page is one of the options for GoSignMeUp administration after you successfully log in to the system. It is the bottom right option.
The Admin Overview layout is shown above. At the top (1) is a welcome message that all administrators can see - you can use this area to broadcast news or other instructions for administrators. On the right side (2) each of the boxes ('wigits') serves a unique function, be it a quick-link to common actions or easy access to certain high-level registration data. The left-hand side (3) is reserved for navigation, and clicking anywhere in the navigation tree will exit the home portal and take you to the clicked destination. To return to the Home Page Portal, click Home at the top of the right of the screen.
The top News widget box contains a few controls for the Admin Overview page. Clicking the Hide or Show widgets button (1) will result in a drop down of available widgets to display. Simply check or uncheck the box next to the desired widget to show or hide them from this page. The Ruby Change log button (2) links to a document that shows what changes to the Ruby software have been made. The Classic Change Log button (3) links to a document that shows what changes to the Classic software have been made. The Check for Update button is to monitor versions of GoSignMeUp (4) (These links are useful for IT departments).
To change the text content of the News widget, click the Edit News Message gear icon (5). You can then edit the contents of this box .

Courses At A Glance
As the title implies, this widget displays Current Courses in the system. Clicking the blue hyperlinks (1) will open the selected course in the Course Dash detail page.
Clicking the Open Course Grid button (2) will open the Course Grid showing Current courses (you can choose to display All, Current or Past courses on the Course Grid).
This widget quickly shows how many students are in the system, and how many are active for a given time frame. The default time frame is one year from the current day. To change the time frame, click the gear cog (1) and enter your date range (2). The Export to Excel option creates a CSV file of the Current Student data that you can sort/review/print in MicroSoft's popular spreadsheet program, or import in to any platform that can process CSV files, such as Google Docs.
The Enrollment widget shows number of students enrolled for the current year. To select a different year, click the gear cog (1), choose the desired year, then click Preview to activate the data, then Save. To download a graphic snap shot of the graph, click the Save Chart button (2). For a complete report of the Enrollment information use the Export to Excel feature (3) - this will give you a detailed report of student enrollment information that you can then sort/review/print in a spreadsheet.
